 THE BEAUTIFUL....

Today is the anniversary of 9/11. Today is the 24th anniversary of our son Elan Michael. Today we are mourning the loss of a bright light Charlie Kirk. America we are still mourning and if we don't address the elephant in the room...we will continue to mourn. 

We call evil good, right wrong and kill people we don't agree with. If you are a  blood-washed believer in Jesus Christ The Messiah, then uphold the Lord's structure for marriage, for family and gender roles; protect the unborn at any point in their development; teach the next generation how to agree to disagree respectfully and how to PRAY! Teach your children about Jesus! Encourage your adult kids to turn to Jesus! Learn how to break apart the bible. Learn Jewish culture. Educate, Pray, Live Compassionately and do good! (He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy God? We are allowing our children to choose their genders without teaching them that they are perfect the way they are, because YAHWEH made them fearfully and wonderfully, without teaching them that HE has a plan for them and their job is to find out what it is. I hear you, how can they find out? By seeking the Lord, learning how to read their bible, by being discipled in a bible teaching church and intentionally making time for the King of all Kings! 

I mourn because I know human history which says we will be shocked for a moment, maybe even outraged. A few of us will pray and seek the Lord earnestly covering the Kirk family, citizens directly affected by 9/11; but will we as a community of believers turn this sad day into a call to RALLY? We rally by:

Loving Intentionally those who hate us without compromising our beliefs

Engage those who disagree with us in warm, safe conversation

Pray for those who hate us

Show love in action by finding ways to serve in the community

Walk in JOY above our circumstances

Determine to bring YAHWEH, The One Who Is and Is to Come, glory every day that is ours to do so!

Yes, you will still get hurt. Stop being afraid. Yes, you may be challenged. Be prepared to give an answer as to why you believe what you believe. Yes, you will need to clean up your own house. There will be no other Gods before Me, says the Most -High! Clearing the clutter may mean parting with your current house of worship if they are not teaching the Word of God the way it is printed. Or maybe they have a lot of flags hanging off the building but not one represents the Christian faith or call people into repentance, but instead supports the damming life they are living in. Check yourself first, ask The Lord to help you be more effective by creating in you a clean heart (Psalm 51:10)... then re-commit (if necessary) or commit period. 

Charlie Kirk had a unique calling. Not everyone is called to engage the public the way he did, but we are all called to engage the darkness in some type of manner. Find out how you can best share the good news! Stop fearing rejection. I do, but I am determined to move forward in the confidence of the Most High! 

America, if you are willing, we can turn this dark day of remembrance into something BEAUTIFUL! We have the tools. It's time to get to work.
